Meet the Team
Leah Roper is a resident of Oklahoma City and an attorney and founding partner at Center for Employment Law where she represents employees who have been discriminated against, harassed, unpaid, or otherwise wronged by their employers. Originally from McLoud, Oklahoma, Leah attended Oklahoma State University from 2006 through 2011, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and in Political Science before attending law school at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
Leah graduated with Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class XI and subsequently served on the alumni board. Leah is professionally involved in the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Oklahoma Employment Lawyers Association. An avid supporter of the arts, Leah volunteers with the Arts Council of Oklahoma City and served as Co-Chair of the steering committee for the Artisans from 2019-2021, in addition to co-chairing Opening Night in 2019. Leah is currently on the Board of Directors for the Girls Scouts of Western Oklahoma and deadCenter Film Festival. A long-time supporter of the Plaza District, Leah co-chaired the Plaza District Festival in 2018 and 2019, in addition to serving as chair of the Board of Directors for 2019-2020. Previously, Leah has served on the Boards of Directors for the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition and Community Literacy Centers as vice-chair for each board.
Leah has earned recognition by Super Lawyers in 2017-2021 for her employment litigation practice. Leah was recognized by NextGen Under 30 in 2017, Forty under 40 from the Oklahoma Gazette in 2018, and the Journal Record’s Achievers under 40 in 2021, for her community and professional work.
